Learn how to navigate the Microsoft Windows environment, understand its components and techniques; access and use online help; understand and use file explorer, my computer, accessories, including Paint and WordPad. Learn how to find missing files; delete, copy and move files and folders, use recycle bin functions, organize, maintain and troubleshoot your hard disk, use drop and drag functions, and create desktop icons and shortcuts to programs and documents.


Is this course right for you?

Pre-short course skills required:

  • Basic familiarity with using a mouse to point, click, double-click and drag, and basic familiarity with using a keyboard.
  • Windows manipulation skills-open, close, size, drag, maximize, minimize, restore.
